I'm so happy to announce my first book of poetry, after 20 years of dreaming and writing. This has been a fantastic journey. Born in late February 2020 and ready for the world.
I am so excited to share it with you.
Out of the Weeds
A bouquet of poetry about surviving the never ending journey of self-acceptance, and learning self-care through writing. An altar, to breathe; to feel connected; offering poetry as a way to create a smile, even if it is through pain. A book on how to bloom, move on, survive major depression, and enjoy love. Finally, a healing of the little girl within whom is a wild flower.
From one reader:
"this book has the power to enable readers to find and accept their own identities. Your book is a poetic role model of the healing power of great poetry." - Terri

I want to thank Megan Febuary, of For Women Who Roar™ for providing a safe space for my poem. I can't begin to express how proud I am to be in the For Women Who Roar #MeToo Poetry eBook. It is empowering to take back your voice, and your self. This book allowed me to do that in a safe, and healing way.
The name of my poem is #Believed
