My Debut book of poetry

Out of the Weeds

I've wanted to write this book my entire life it seems. I remember telling my husband when we first met, "I'm writing a book", that was 20 years ago. I wasn't as ready as I thought I was back then, now things are different.

I can't thank my husband and daughters enough for their encouragement and loving support throughout. I am so loved.

I'm so happy to debut this book in 2020, the year of "seeing clearly".

So here it is, please welcome:

Out of the Weeds

About:

A bouquet of poetry about surviving the never ending journey of self-acceptance, and learning self-care through writing.  An altar, to breathe; to feel connected; offering poetry as a way to create a smile, even if it is through pain. A book on how to bloom, move on, survive major depression, and enjoy love. Finally, a healing of the little girl within whom is a wild flower.

From one reader:

"this book has the power to enable readers to find and accept their own identities. Your book is a poetic role model of the healing power of great poetry." - Terri
