I have always seen my poetry as beyond the page. Here are pieces I have created from torn pages from my poetry book.

I fall in love with the power...


This is a tiny 6x6 acrylic with thread, peacock feather (broken jewelry) dried flowers, greens, metal. I burned the paper too.

I remember when, the exact instant...

 

Creating this piece was incredible. I'm so emotional over how it turned out. It felt like I was writing the poem all over again. It is exactly what I envisioned. 


10x10 acrylic canvas with metal time pieces, dried flowers, beads from a broken necklace, and CDs I broke with a hammer (very fun)

Who plucks from my pages? This is the title of the poem used to make this adorable owl. She has a sparkly center and uses flowers and ribbon to look like wallpaper behind her. She is currently hanging out beside the bed.
